Government Secrecy

1) Is it the citizen's responsibility to keep government in check?
2) If SIPRNet is suppose to be kept private, how are  so many people gaining access to it?
3) Why did people seem to not make a big deal out of the international papers spreading the documents?

  1. To the first question, I think the citizens should keep the government in check. But who says they would listen to us.

  2. That is exactly what I was thinking! I think the people should keep the government accountable. They make mistakes as well. And I think they would have to listen to us if they wanna get elected again.

  5. Democracy is a government controlled by the people right? So, the people should keep the government in check in order to have a honest government. The should should be able to shape the government how it mosted liked. Isn't that why we vote and have the right to protest?
