I strongly believe that the government does have to keep somethings secret. I really think we need to trust that our government is doing so for a reason, none of us can really understand the reasoning as to why what is kept from us is, and what is not, isn't. However, I would agree that the system is taken advantage of and too much is kept from the public.
1.) The article brings up the fact that we should be "well-informed citizens" yet they keep so much secret from us, so how can be so "well-informed"?
2.) Is it bad to just go to the Wikileaks website? I'm kind of curious to see what it's like.
3.) I don't really get what they are saying when they state that Wikileaks is harming the lives of individuals...how?
I don't think going to the Wikileaks website. How you feel I think is more social than it is moral. In other words, won't you be stigmatized if people knew you were frequenting such a website?
