THE WRITING PROCESS

I thought this article was extremely helpful when it came to organizing and starting papers.

1. In this article they tell us to use websites like google to gather information, but my teachers and professors have always told me to stay away from google because it can't be directed back to an original source.

2. After I read all the ideas they have given me to help me organize a paper, I thought they were all extremely helpful. But I know I would never take them into consideration... I think about doing them, but I know I won't.

  1. I think it's so true -- what "The Writing Process" offers as invention exercises are really helpful, but I don't know any student (other than myself and my colleagues) who actually takes the time to invent.

A lot of people have been raising questions about why the reading proposes that the writer start out with looking at places like Google, and I think I'll address this question in class tomorrow.
